MISSION STATEMENT
The Counselling Ministry of the Church of the Open Bible, 12 Washington Boulevard, is committed to providing professional counselling services within a Christian framework to the family, the church body and the wider community.
In carrying out this mandate, the Counselling Ministry will integrate Biblical principles as may be applicable, with therapeutic interventions for the total healing of individuals in order to equip them to become whole in all areas of their lives.
These interventions will be facilitated by trained and qualified counsellors and psychologists in a safe and confidential environment, and where necessary, will make appropriate referrals to suitable personnel.
AIM
To provide a safe and caring environment for individuals, couples, young people and families ( in the context of the church environment and the wider communities ) and to help them to discover Christ-centred answers to their personal struggles, relational challenges and a variety of other issues, including marital and family relationships, communication, grief and loss, interpersonal struggles, parenting etc., with an overall emphasis on Spiritual development using psychological counselling integrated with spiritual guidance and other means of education including Webinars/Seminars workshops, telephone counselling, face –to – face counselling , WhatsApp and selected virtual platforms.

Services are offered by trained and qualified counsellors and psychologists with some counsellors who have studied at the Doctoral level.
